I chose to hand make this turquoise chain with the 14k ROSE gold-filled wire that I have recently started working with. I have always been drawn to copper but I have a hard time wearing it and therefore I don't work in it. I need to explore some techniques incorporating it where it doesn't touch the skin. BUT the ROSE gold-filled has a very coppery look to it. And I love it with the turquoise! I've added small faceted pyrite accents and sterling silver bali flowers. Due to the Governor of Virginia's recent orders, the event at the Frontier Culture Museum on Black Friday has been canceled. Excited to be with the City Market again this Saturday! Market goes from 8a-12p. I am in Spot H-9 in the row next to South Street. Here I am awkwardly modeling this new design that I have been making this year. I don't like selfies and this makes me uncomfortable but I cannot do these awesome earrings justice when they are laying down.
